The president’s spokesman, Femi Adesina has announced that President Muhammadu Buhari will proceed to the United Kingdom on a private visit on November 2, from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
According to Adesina, President Buhari will leave Nigeria on Monday on an official trip to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to attend Economic Forum of the Future Investment Initiative in Riyadh.
But instead of returning to the country after the summit he will will on Saturday, November 2, 2019, proceed to the United Kingdom on a private visit.
He said that the President is expected to return to Nigeria on November 17, 2019.”
The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity in the statement he issued in Abuja also disclosed that Buhari would on the sideline of the event hold bilateral talks with King Salman of Saudi Arabia and King Abdullah ll of Jordan .
He stated that other itinerary of the President is an high-level event titled: “What is Next for Africa: How will Investment and Trade Transform the Continent into the Next Great Economic Success Story?”
Adesina stated that President Buhari will attend the event alongside with Presidents of Kenya, Congo-Brazzaville and Burkina Faso.
