Justice Mohammed Shuaibu of the Federal High Court in Edo State has convicted and sentenced Mrs Debest Osarumwense to five years imprisonment for receiving N91 million, proceeds of internet fraud from son.
The Convict, who assisted her alleged internet fraudster son, Endurance Osarumwense to commit the crime pleaded guilty of a one-count charge brought against her by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Justice Shuaibu in his judgment held that the EFCC had successfully proven the charge of receiving N91,296,150 “being proceeds of her son’s criminal activities.
