One passenger, speaking anonymously, described the incident, saying it occurred after passengers had unfastened their seatbelts.
The passenger recounted, “We had already been served our meals when the plane lost cabin pressure and experienced a sharp descent.
“I hit my head on the ceiling due to the impact and lost consciousness. A member of the medical team attended to me amid the chaos.
“The plane experienced three sharp descents that caused injuries to several people. We were in the air for four hours. During the turbulence, the pilot announced that we would land in Ghana, but we finally landed back in Nigeria.”
